Get Your Tickets to Stir It Up! Sunday, November 5th

It’s the 3rd Annual Stir It Up on Sunday, November 6 from 11:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m. at Elkhorn Area High School (www.stiritupwalco.com).  This Walworth County-wide charitable fundraising event to benefit VIP Services, the Walworth County Shelter Build and Elkhorn Area High School Music Programs.

Tickets types and prices:
-Youth (ages 7 – 17): $7.50 (children ages 6 and under—no charge)
-General Admission: $25
-Couple: $40 for a two people
-Family for $60 (two adults and up to three youths)
-Limited number of “Preferred Seating” section tickets $50 per person (including children)
Top area restaurants will generously be donating samples of their signature fare for the event.  Participating restaurants so far include, Best Events Catering, Crafted Americana, Greenie’s Clubhouse, Hawk’s View Golf Club, Lake Geneva Pie Co., Lakeland Bakery, Next Door Pub, Sperino’s, The Trout House at Rushing Waters and Tuscan Tavern and Grill.  Entertainment will be provided by wonderfully talented area high school students.

Stir It Up provides a creative way for residents of Walworth County to support a group of important causes working to improve the quality of life for people.  The event is sponsored through a partnership with VIP Services and the Rotary Club of Elkhorn.

VIP’s 19th Annual Golf Outing – Monday, June 12th

The VIP Services 19th Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 12th, presented by Kikkoman Foods, Inc. and the Kikkoman Foods Foundation, Course sponsor Aldridge Electric, Dinner sponsor Tankcraft Corporation / Plasticraft Corporation and Lunch sponsor MPC, Inc., was a tremendous success netting over $100,000! 

Welcoming the golfers to the magnificent course at Big Foot Country Club in Fontana at the shot-gun start were co-chairs Cherie Ackman and Bob Putnam. The day concluded with a program and special remarks by Executive Director Cindy Simonsen, Board President Donna Neshek and VIP Ambassador Tammie Steinert.  Funds were raised through sponsorships, participant entry fees, loud and silent auctions, raffle ticket sales, and a wine and spirit pull.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, golfers, prize and wine donors, volunteers and committees members.  Their incredible generosity of time, talent and treasure allows VIP to provide programs and services for people with disabilities in Walworth County.

VIP Bowl-a-thon Thank You!

Join us for the 2017 Bowl-a-thon on Saturday, March 4th

Facebook Picture (3)Come have a ball at the annual Bowl-A-Thon!  Open to all ages and abilities.  Funds raised support VIP’s mission to empower adults with disabilities.  

The 9th Annual VIP Services Bowl-a-thon will take place on Saturday, March 4th at Delavan Lanes.  This popular event provides participants with the opportunity to raise funds for VIP Services operations while simultaneously having a fun time. The day will be divided into two sixteen team sessions, the first beginning at 12:00 p.m. and the second at 3:00 p.m. Special incentives will be offered for those teams who raise $400 or more in pledges.  Bowl-a-thon registration forms have recently been distributed. 2016 Stir It Up! A county-wide fundraising success

On Sunday, November 6th, we welcomed 650 guests who were entertained by four area high school music groups as they enjoyed delicious food from 19 top area restaurants.  The event raised more than $40,00 and funds raised this year will benefit VIP Services, Association for the Prevention of Family Violence (AFPV), Elkhorn Area Youth Center and Elkhorn High School Music Program.  The event is a partnership with the Elkhorn Rotary Club.  Thank you to our attendees, sponsors, donors, entertainers and volunteers.  Mark your calendar for the 2017 event – Sunday, November 5!

VIP Services Awarded “Building Full Lives in the Community” Grant

The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (BPDD) has awarded a 2016 Building Full Lives in the Community Technical Assistance Grant to VIP Services, Inc. The grant provides technical assistance to support the organizations in providing services and supports that are individualized; full of choices; and built around the dreams and aspirations of individuals.  Organizations will learn how to establish services that support individuals Full Lives in The Community by flexibly combining customized employment with individualized community integrated activities.  Read the full press release:  VIP Services Awarded Full Lives Grant from WPDD.
