Finding Workforce Solutions: Community Breakfast & Forum

Finding Workforce Solutions by Employing People with Disabilities:

A Community Forum and Breakfast

VIP Services, Inc., in partnership with the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities, will host a complimentary breakfast event for employers and other community members at the Matheson Memorial Library on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

At the event, area employers who are interested in learning how to leverage local resources to meet their workforce needs and diversify their businesses will hear from other local business who have had positive experiences employing people with disabilities. Participants will have an opportunity to network and learn while talking with VIP Services staff and people with disabilities about their own hiring needs.

This event is part of a two-year statewide initiative called Partners with Business that was passed by the Wisconsin Legislature in the spring of 2018 to build capacity with businesses to hire and support workers with disabilities.  There is no cost to register and includes a complimentary breakfast.  To RSVP for the event, visit https://findingworkforcesolutions.splashthat.com/ or for more information, contact Kim Brady at kimbrady@vipservices-inc.org or (262)723-4043 ext.136.
