Effective April 1, 2014 Walworth County Department of Health & Human Services contracted with VIP Services to provide Walworth County transportation service.

  • Serves persons 60+, adults with disabilities and veterans
  • Serves residents in Walworth County and adjacent counties
  • Accessible vehicles with door to door service
  • Advanced reservation is required

1.       What Types of Rides Can You Get?

  • Non-emergency Medical Appointments (Mondays – Fridays)
  • Transportation for Dialysis Appointments (Mondays – Saturdays)
  • Trips to Senior Dining Centers (Nutrition) on Scheduled Days
  • Trips for Grocery Shopping on Scheduled Days

2.       How Can I Get A Ride From VIP Services?

  • Call VIP Services’ Transportation Department at 262-723-4043 ext. 161Monday Through Friday from 6:00 AM through 5:00 PM
  • Medical Appointment rides must be scheduled 2 days in advance
  • Senior Dining (Nutrition) and Grocery Shopping Trips may be scheduled the day before (see schedule below)

3.       What Do I Need To Know About My Ride

  • A VIP Scheduler will call you the day before your ride to confirm the ride and pick-up time.
  • A VIP Driver will deliver you to your destination and pick you up at the designated time at the same location.
  • If your appointment is running late and you will not be ready for your designated pick-up time, please call VIP Services’ Transportation Department 262-723-4043 ext. 161.
  • If an “after the appointment” pick-up time was not designated, please call VIP Services’ Transportation Department 262-723-4043 ext. 161 and a driver will pick you up within one hour.

4.       What Will The Service Cost?

  • Co-payments are collect at the time of your ride. You may pay by cash, check (payable to: VIP Services) or prepaid card.
  • Each additional stop during a trip is charged an additional one-way fee.
  • Prepaid transportation cards are available for 10 one-way trips in denominations of $30, $40 or $60 from drivers or the VIP Services front office. (rates are subject to change by the authority of Walworth County)
