On October 16, 2012, five new members were installed in the VIP Aktion Club. Members, pictured here with Elkhorn Kiwanis Club liaison D.J. Richardson (l.) andRuth Jones(r.), participated in a joint Peanut Sale venture recently with the Elkhorn Club to raise funds for Project Eliminate. Project Eliminate is a joint effort of Kiwanis International and UNICEF to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. This deadly disease steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year.
