Congratulations to Nancy Ward, Development Director on her retirement from VIP Services! Nancy’s incredible energy, enthusiasm and dedication have left an indelible impact at VIP Services in every area from volunteer development, to fundraising and special events.
One of Nancy’s many fortes was organizing VIP’s fundraisers which included events such as the Ultimate Indoor Tailgate Party, annual golf outing and bowl-a-thon. Nancy was instrumental in VIP’s capital campaign, Building a Bridge making the move possible to our current location on Geneva Street.
Nancy’s passion for volunteer development led to the creation of programs like VIP Service Ambassadors. The program matches volunteer coaches with clients who utilize public speaking within the community to advocate for themselves and others while telling their story. The genuine relationships Nancy built with the community, clients and volunteers continue to make VIP a better place for all.
We wish Nancy the very best as she begins a new adventure and chapter of her life back in the sunny skies of California. She truly embodies VIP’s mission to “empower people with disabilities to explore and experience endless possibilities.”
