VIP Services has been partnering with Gateway Technical College instructors to provide collaborative service learning opportunities for their students and people with disabilities at VIP. One of the programs involves Gateway Nursing students. Students promote healthy nutritional choices for VIP’s clients while simultaneously having an opportunity to work directly with a special needs population and to reinforce the importance of therapeutic communication.
