Volunteer Opportunities

Donating your time is a great way to help support our mission of Providing a broad range of services that empower people with disabilities or barriers toward achievement, purpose, and belonging within our community. Volunteering gives you an opportunity to immerse yourself actively to support the cause. Bonus points for the fact that you’ll feel great about spending some time in this way. We could describe what we do a in a lot of different ways, but actually being here as a part of it is the best way to understand what this place means to us and the individuals that we support. We want volunteers that feel the same way about all that goes on here.

 

As a volunteer, you may attend off-site activities with our program participants and assistants. The group goes for coffee, hiking, fishing, mini golfing, to the high school to play sports, bowling, to the county fair and more. You may stay onsite to help with an in-house craft, art, or cooking project. Or maybe we’re prepping for an upcoming event, and you could help us on that. You might provide support at a fundraising event like our annual golf outing or casino night.

 

What are your interests? Hobbies? Skills? These factors will allow us to place you with a group for an activity where you have an interest too. Or maybe you have a hobby that would spark a new activity. The possibilities are endless!

 

All volunteers must fill out a Volunteer Application and pass a DOJ and Caregiver Background Check prior to participating as a volunteer. An interview and tour of the facility will also be required. Please click on the link below to access and submit our online Volunteer Application.
